What to put in the first message
One photograph and one sentence is enough to start a thread. The more of this that arrives with it, the sooner a dimensioned drawing comes back.
- A sketch, or a photograph of the tool you already use Lay the old rib on paper and draw round it, or photograph it flat against a ruler with the camera directly above. A traced outline beats a paragraph of description every time, and a ruler in the frame turns the photograph into a measurement.
- The profile you want The curve is the tool. Radius, land width, bevel angle, thickness. If only one of those actually matters to you, say which one, and the rest gets drawn to match the nearest thing in the index.
- The flex grade Grade 1 to grade 5, ultra soft to hard. It is not a colour option. A rib in grade 3 and the same rib in grade 5 are two different tools and they do two different jobs.
- What it is for, in your own words "Pulling a tall cylinder in a coarse stoneware" carries more than a dimension does. It is also the line that catches a mistake in the drawing before the printer does.
Where it is made
Designed, printed, finished and packed in one building in Yerevan. The drawing, the printer, the bead blaster and the box are all in the same few rooms, which is the only reason a change to a profile costs a day instead of a shipping cycle.
Where it goes
Anywhere in Armenia, posted from Yerevan and tracked. Outside Armenia it gets arranged in the thread, one order at a time: a 26 gram rib and a 410 gram wheel bat are not the same parcel and it would be dishonest to quote them as though they were.
What happens after you send it
A dimensioned drawing comes back the same working day, with the radius, the land and the bevel written on it. Nothing goes near a printer until you have said yes to that drawing. Printing and finishing then take three to eight days, and four to twelve days end to end depending on the tool.
A first one can be wrong. A curve that looked right on paper can chatter against wet clay, and the answer to that is a second print rather than a conversation about whose fault it was. Approved drawings stay on file under your name, so the next one is a code in a message and nothing more.
